Acupuncture and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) take a wholistic approach to wellness.
Our Acupuncturist, Dr. Candace Jordan LAc. will assess your whole self, not just your symptoms. She will work with you to get to the root of your health and wellness concerns. As a team, you will work to find out how factors like your lifestyle and emotional and mental well-being may be affecting your health. Please honor this partnership as an opportunity for better health. The more you take part in your healing process, the more successful it can be.
At the core of TCM is the philosophy that Qi, or vital energy, flows throughout the body. Qi animates the body and protects it from illness, pain, and disease. An individual’s health and wellness is influenced by the quality, quantity, and balance of Qi.
To treat any Qi imbalances, fine sterile needles are inserted to specific acupuncture points along the meridian pathways. Dr. Candace will create a treatment session and plan specific to your individual needs and goals.
Your treatment plan may include additional modalities, such as cupping, Tui Na, moxibustion, and Gua Sha. Herbal remedies are another important aspect of acupuncture and TCM.
Please contact Dr. Candace Jordan LAc. to schedule an appointment.
Acupuncture is recognized by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
